That question sits at the heart of Amanda Johnson's work as founder of Awaken Village Press and a Book Doula, helping visionary leaders and healers bring their voices, stories, and books into the world.
Amanda is the author of the Becoming trilogy and has spent nearly eight years building Awaken Village Press as more than a publishing company. She describes it as a village: a regenerative publishing ecosystem rooted in authentic expression and conscious storytelling.
On October 17, Amanda and Awaken Village Press are bringing that philosophy to The Courage to Be: Leadership for the New Paradigm in a very tangible way.
Creating a Living Library at The Courage to Be
This year, Awaken Village Press is partnering with us to bring the Thought Leader Library to life with a physical space at the Summit dedicated to ideas, stories, expression, and connection.
Alongside a curated collection of books from our Thought Leaders, Amanda is helping us create an opportunity for everyone in the room to contribute their own voice. Throughout the Summit, attendees will be invited to share a short piece of writing inspired by The Courage to Be.
Some of those words may eventually become part of a Courage to Be anthology, with an opportunity for up to 20 people to contribute more deeply to the final collection. More details on that soon.
We love the possibility that something sparked in a room at the summit becomes an on-going energy that inspires people for years to come.
The new paradigm isn’t something any one of us can write alone…We’re writing it together.
